Vans: Vans
A van or delivery van is a vehicle that is intended to be used for transporting merchandise and objects. Smaller types of van, like the Volkswagen Caddy, are generally built on a (modified) passenger car chassis. Larger delivery vans have a dedicated chassis and also sometimes called small trucks (camionette in some countries). They look like a small truck. A closed van generally has no windows in the load-carrying section. If the load-carrying section is equipped with side windows, the van is generally also suitable for carrying passengers. This affects the amount of road tax in many cases.
